My expense transactions are not showing up in my banking review

Its been driving my crazy for months, but the banking transactions aren't showing up or they just take forever to show up so I can review them.  What is wrong?  I can review all my app transactions, but none of my banking transactions come up which are mostly expenses taken directly from my bank account.  I don't understand why because yes I have updated multiple times, I have disconnected and reconnected my bank account and still the expenses do not show up.   I don't know why?  help!

I understand you're trying to restore missing expense transactions in your QuickBooks Online account, @bandmdavies. I'm here to ensure you'll get the data you needed.

 

QuickBooks Online downloads previous transactions up to a specific date when you first connect your online bank and credit card accounts. The most recent transactions are then downloaded every night by QuickBooks automatically.
 

Let's review different areas of your account to find the missing transactions. Before anything else, kindly Update the bank account once more. This helps us get the latest transactions. Once finished, check on the For Review page. It's likely that the transactions are there. 

 

Then, I suggest searching the three areas of the banking page. Here's how:

 

  1. Open the Bookkeeping menu then click on Transactions.
  2. Go to Banking or Bank transactions.
  3. Navigate to the Banking tab.
  4. Choose the tile for the bank or credit card account you downloaded the transaction from.
  5. Check out the For Review, Categorized, and Excluded tabs to know if the transactions are there.
