Hi there, @julie_hopper.

Thanks for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community. Allow me to help provide some information about connecting Huntington Bank with QuickBooks Online (QBO).

We have an ongoing issue where some users are not able to connect their Huntington Bank with QBO. Rest assured that our engineers are investigating and working on an immediate fix. For the meantime, I encourage you to contact our QuickBooks Online Support Team so they can add you to our notification list of affected users to receive live email updates about this issue.

Here's how you can contact our live support:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (question mark icon) at the top right.
  3. Click Contact us to connect with a live support agent.

While we're continuing to work on resolving this issue, you can manually download the transactions from your bank's website and import them into QBO using the WebConnect feature. This way, we can make sure you have the necessary bank transactions in your bank feeds to keep you up and running.

I appreciate your patience. If you have additional questions about the WebConnect feature, don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'm always here to help.

I'm having a similar issue. My account connects but every day it asks to reverify with a 6 digit pin. So i get a texts and reconnect but the next say it says it needs to verify security again.

Anyone else get this issue?

If you log into your Huntington account and go to your settings there is an option to allow 3rd parties to access your account that will need to be toggled to the on setting.

Thank you! I spent needless hours with QBO constantly re-entering my username and password proving to them I was doing all that I was told to do. If they would have provided this suggestion it would have saved me time and frustration!

Hello,

When will this be fixed? I signed up for the free trial on April 25th, 2020, and still haven't been able to connect banking account. I was connected to the "top-level customer service engineering department" according to the person who answered the phone. They said the issue is persisting for anyone with Huntington Commerical. I can input all my info, but when I input the token and hit next; it never connect and either time out or give me an error message. I really hope this can be resolved soon.

Welcome to the Community, @TimVegas. Thanks for joining in this conversation and for sharing your concern. This is not what we want you to experience.

At the moment, we're unable to provide the ETA for the resolution on this investigation. I can only assure you that someone from our engineering team is working to implement a fix as soon as possible.

While they do that, I'd encourage you to contact our QuickBooks Online Customer Support team to link your account to the list of all affected users. You can provide this case number: INV-45212 for easy tracking so you’ll get updates about its status via email.

Let me know if you additional questions. I'll be around to help. Stay safe.

Ok, I will do that.

Have they fixed the link to Huntington Commercial Bank Acct. Been working with tech support and they said it was on Huntington side, called them and they said it was on QBO side. Been working on this for 2 days. CRAZY! Can I have a case # and or a support # that knows how to connect?

Good Afternoon, @Sjlukac

This isn't the impression I want to leave you with. Since the issue has been recently closed, I suggest clearing your browser's history. This will allow QuickBooks to load as a fresh new page to remove any errors or glitches that were occurring in the product. Here's how to in Google Chrome:

  1. Go to the Three Vertical Dots in the top right-hand corner of the browser.
  2. Pick History and then History again.
  3. Press Clear Browsing Data
  4. In the "Time Range" section, choose All Time
  5. Hit Clear Data

This should do the trick. If this issue is persisting after trying these steps, then I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team again and letting them know that you're still having this problem.

If you have any other questions or concerns, just let me know. I want to make sure this gets resolved as soon as possible. Take care!

for Huntington Business Checking Account:

MENU-> PROFILE-> Financial Management Tools Access-> Turn ON (& SAVE)

October 13, 2021

Can you upload a picture showing where you found the Financial Management Tools Access? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

October 13, 2021

I'm here to guide you on where you can find the banking option you need, @maxwellmarsh.

The Financial Management Tools Access isn't an option in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You'll have to log into your bank's website (Huntington Business Checking Account) to access and turn on the feature. Follow the steps shared by ConwayTwitty above to complete the initial connection process.

Then, connect your Huntington Business Checking account to QBO by following the step-by-step guide in this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Once connected, your most recent transactions will automatically download. All you have to do is review and match them to the existing entries in QuickBooks. This way, you can keep your financial data updated. To do this, please refer to this article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

In keeping with this, I'd recommend reconciling your Huntington Business Checking account every month. This helps you monitor your business's income/expenses and detect errors accordingly. For the detailed steps, check out this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Please keep me posted on how it goes. Let me know in the comments if you have other banking concerns and questions about managing transactions in QBO. I'm always around to help. Take care and stay safe always, @maxwellmarsh.

It is 2022.... and yes, I am a QB user who is still unable to connect to Huntington Online Banking. I connect, but I can't download any of my transactions. When I do, it crashes QB. Is there anyone out there that can help solve this issue? I am behind and need to resolve this....

April 26, 2022

Thanks for joining us here, @Desperado2.

I'll share some information about Huntington Bank. We have a similar case reported about unable to download transactions from Huntington Bank. Rest assured, out engineers are working diligently to get this resolved.

As a workaround, you'll want to download your bank transactions manually. Refer to this guide for the detailed steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Also, to ensure you'll get an update about the resolution status, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. This way, they will add your company to the list of affected users.

Use this link to reach out: QuickBooks Online Support.

In case you need help with other bank-related tasks, feel free to browse this link. It has banking topics with articles to guide you along: Find help with your bank accounts.

Thank you for your patience while we're still working on the fix. Please don't hesitate to reply if you have other banking questions. I'm more than happy to answer them for you. Have a great day ahead.
