Question

My most recent deposit says funded. However, my bank is saying they did not receive it. Did QUICKBOOKS not release the batch to the bank yet? Or is this a bank issue?

QuickBooks is dependent on your bank. It waits for any confirmation regarding any transactions, Jill98. Let me share the details regarding the deposits.

Once Intuit receives the confirmation from your bank regarding the funds being cleared, the status will become Funded. If your Merchant account is new, QuickBooks Online deposits funds within five business days. Initial deposits may take longer as QuickBooks sets up your merchant account. Once it's complete, future payments are usually deposited faster, often within two business days.

You can always check or track your deposits in QuickBooks Payments. From there, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Activity & Reports menu, click Deposits.
  2. Select the Dates ▼ dropdown menu to change the date needed. You can include any six months in the last 12 months.
  3. If you want to, click the Show Advanced options to search using the transaction ID and expiration date of the card.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Once you find the deposit, you can:
  1. Click the small arrow ▼ icon in the FEE column to view more details on the transactions that were in that deposit.
  2. Next, print the details, print a summary, or export the data as a comma-separated values (CSV) file.

Check out this link for the deposit speed: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

I'm adding this guide for future reference on matching the deposit to the transactions in the program: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
