My personal account and business account were both merge on QuickBooks how the hell do I remove my personal account off of my QuickBooks

We’ll have to inactivate your personal account since the option to completely remove it is unavailable. If it has a balance, QuickBooks will create a journal entry and move it to another account.


Let’s go to the Chart of Accounts to accomplish this task. I’ll show you how to get there.

 

  1. In your company, tap the Accounting menu and choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find your personal account and click the View Register drop-down to select Make inactive.
  3. Press the Yes button to confirm.
