Question

My QB Self-Employed app is not updating the transactions but is only updating my balance. Same if I logon online.

Hello, RichAndyqwertyuiop. 

 

Thank you for bringing this concern into the Community. We haven't received any similar issues reported in QuickBooks. However, I have few troubleshooting steps to help this sorted out. First, let's make sure your app is working properly we need to ensure that the app is updated into the latest version. 

 

Also, we can reset the application to refresh it. Follow the steps below:      

 

If you're using an Android device: 

  1. Go to the More Options ⋮ menu.  
  2. Select Settings.    
  3. Tap Refresh Data, and then choose Yes.  

 

For iOS: 

  1. Go to Help & Feedback at the top menu bar.   
  2. Choose Reset App Data. Then Refresh.          

 

If the same thing happens after performing the steps above, I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the QBSE application.

I replied to your email and just now found out that it didn’t go through. Anyway I had already reinstalled the app but it’s still not working. Please help ASAP

Yes I’m having the same issue on my iPhone app I constantly have to put in my banking information to sync the account.

First, let's ensure that you're app is up to date with the latest version. This will help the mobile app work to it's full potential.   

 

Second, let's try resetting your application's data to fix this. You can do that by tapping the Help menu and then selecting Reset App Data

 

Afterwards, log in to the mobile app to check to see if the sync process is successful. 

 

If it's not, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks Self-Employed application to resolve installation corruptions. It will also help reset the application data so it functions properly.

I am having the same issue!  Total is good - BUT the detail transaction is missing!

I can see many users are having an issue with missing bank transactions. Allow me to chime in and help you fix the problem with Banking in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

I recommend you start by following the troubleshooting from my colleagues. These steps will help isolate and determine the cause of the problem.

 

In case the issue continues, review the filters in the Transactions section. Make sure to set it to All to ensure all data shows up.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. On the left navigation bar, click Transactions.
  3. Review the filters and set to All.

 

If the problem persists, contact our QuickBooks Support Team for further assistance. Our support for Self-Employed is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday) and 6 AM - 3 PM PT (Saturday). Please follow these steps:
 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Click the Help option in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Contact Us at the bottom.

This is STILL happening now!  My transactions are not updating.  It is NOT my bank 

 

Totally unacceptable and utterly unusable!
