My QBSE stopped importing all transactions in June 2022 - how do I reconnect for those lost months?

Hello @sophia11,

I can see you're a new member here in the Community space. I'm here to guide you with the banking feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

When you first connect your banks and credit cards, QuickBooks downloads the 30 to 90 days of transactions, or up to a year. The data downloaded to our system will depend on your financial institution.

If you need to bring over older transactions, you can export transactions from your bank, then import them into QuickBooks using your laptop or desktop.

Here's how to download transactions from your bank:

  1. Sign in to your bank’s website.
  2. Follow your bank’s steps to download your transactions as a CSV file. This is usually a button or link on your account page.
  3. Set the date range for at least one day before the oldest transaction in the account in QuickBooks.
  4. Follow any on-screen instructions to finish the download.

Once you've secured a copy, you can proceed with the import process in QuickBooks. Check out the detailed steps in this link: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Also, there are times recent transactions won't show up. You can refresh the connection to banking to download your latest data (see screenshot below).

When you categorize, QuickBooks puts your transactions on the correct line of your Schedule C. I've included an article you can use as a reference to organize your income and expenses in QuickBooks: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let us know if you still have more questions about banking or importing transactions by leaving a reply. Take care, and have a great rest of the day.
