I've pleased to have you here in the Community, @Noblesoul. I've got your back, and I'll share some details about your concern so you can get through this and match your QuickBooks Online Balance with your actual bank balance.

Please be aware that there are factors that can affect the balance of your bank accounts. One of these said factors is your downloaded bank transactions.

Know that all of your transactions in the register, including those you haven't yet to reviewed, have an impact on your QuickBooks balance. While the only factor used to determine the bank balance is the transactions recorded in the register.

To get this sorted out, and if you want to make sure they're equal, consider categorizing and matching your downloaded transactions based on your bank statement. To begin, here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping then Transactions then select Bank transactions (Take me there), or go to Banking (Take me there).
  2. Select the tile for the account you want to review.
  3. Select the For review tab to start your review.

For further guidelines, refer to this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I've got you this article for reference in case you'll be moving on to reconcile an account in QBO: Reconcile your accounts QuickBooks Online.
