Question

My transactions are downloading as normal every day. My statements are not downloading even though they have been available through Chase bank for several days.

Good morning, @safesmart76

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. I appreciate you coming here with your question about your Chase bank.

To be sure, are you referring to your transactions not showing up within the banking tab with your Chase bank? If so, I have some troubleshooting steps that can help:

First, let's try clicking the Update button in the top left-hand corner of the banking page. This will help bring over those transactions. If this doesn't work, then I suggest clearing your browser's history. Doing this action will eliminate any errors or glitches that may be occurring on the back end.

In the end, if the issue persists, please let us know so we can get you squared away. I'm only a comment away if you need me. Take care!

Candice,

I update so I'm sure the latest transactions are downloaded once or twice a day. I cleared the cache and all the browsing history but still can't reconcile. Also tried the manual refresh. The Chase statements were available on 12/7; I get an email from them. Any ideas?

Hey there, @safesmart76

Thanks for following up with us.

I wanted to clarify a couple of things. There's a new feature with Quickbooks Online, where some banks now let you view your bank statements right from QuickBooks when you reconcile. I wanted to ask if this is your first time trying to access your statements? If so, I've included some steps below to do this, just in case we may be missing a step.

Here's how:

  1. In QuickBooks, go to the Accounting menu.
  2. Select the Reconcile tab.
  3. From the Account dropdown, choose the account you want to reconcile.
  4. If you see the View statements option, you can get your bank statements directly from your bank for this account. Hit View statements to see your available statements.
  5. When you're ready to start, select Start reconciliation or Resume reconciliation.

However, if this isn't your first time using this process, let's try using another web browser. This way, we can get a good idea if this is browser-related. If you're still unable to reconcile the account after using a different web browser, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team. This way, an agent can review your account in a secure environment and investigate this matter further.

Please let me know how it goes. If you have questions or concerns, I'm always here to lend a hand. Take care, Carl, and have a wonderful day ahead!
