Question

My transactions from my Credit Card stopped transferring as of 5/10/20. The rest of the year did not transfer so Quickbooks does not see any of the charges. So I cannot put together a ScheduleC for the whole year

Thanks for visiting us here today, @j-lightfoot.

I'll share the steps on how you can manually import older transactions in QBSE. You can download a CSV file from your financial institution and import them into your account. Let me walk you through how.

  1. Sign in to your bank’s website.
  2. Follow your bank’s steps to download your transactions as a CSV file. This is usually a button or link on your account page.
  3. Set the date range for at least one day before the oldest transaction in the account in QuickBooks.
  4. Follow any on-screen instructions to finish the download.

After downloading the file, import it into your QBSE account. Here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
  2. Go to the Gear icon at the top. Then, choose Imports.
  3. Select Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
  4. Tap Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank. Locate the file and then Open it to start the import.
  5. Review the column headers and data. Make sure the Date, Description, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks.
  6. Click Continue to complete the import.

With the above steps, you're able to gather the whole year's data for your Schedule C. You can check out this article for details: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
