Hello there, bordelonsh-hotma.

I'll provide insights on how bank and credit card transactions work in QuickBooks Online. I'll also ensure you can get bank entries from 1/1/23 - 6/30/23 into the program.

Please know that the downloaded data in QuickBooks depends on what your bank shares with us. Some financial institutions let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months.

Since your bank doesn't download transactions from the stated periods above, you can manually import them into QuickBooks. It allows you to see all of your bank data in QBO.

To start with, get the entries from your bank. You can then follow the steps below.

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer. Every financial institution has different steps. Here are steps for Bank of AmericaChase, and Wells Fargo.
  3. Review the date range for the download. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your entries and save the file somewhere you can easily find it, like your computer's desktop.

Once done, open and review the file from your bank. Then. make sure it's in the correct format before you upload it. Please note the maximum file size is 350 KB. If the file is too big, shorten the date range and download transactions in smaller batches.

After that, you can refer to this article for additional guidelines on how to finish the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

In case you need steps on how you can review imported transactions by matching or adding them to avoid duplicate data, you can read this article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If you still have concerns with managing your bank transactions in QBO, please don't hesitate to add them below. I'm here to assist you further, bordelonsh-hotma. Have a good day!

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
