Question

Non-profit connected to a state gov agency. Created a bank/money market account then found out it belongs to agency not non-profit. How do I delete this bank acct?

Did NOT connect to the bank. Added 10/1/2020, accepted a donation, accepted interest, and service charge. Shown on quarterly stmts 12/31/2020.

You can inactivate the bank account, Scaf-wwrbookkeep. Let me guide you.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Accounting.
  2. Go to the Chart of Accounts tab.
  3. Select the bank account.
  4. Click the View register drop-down arrow, then select Make inactive.
  5. Select Yes to confirm.
