Question

Noticed that transactions from one account did not download to QB.....I did a refresh but that did not solve it. How can I sync the account to QB?

Thanks for reaching out, Robert. Let's get this banking issue sorted out so you can focus on the task at hand.

Before anything else, it would be helpful if you could provide the financial institution you're associated with so I can check if there are any ongoing investigations related to it. This way, I can provide a more tailored solution for your concern.

To start, please note that if the missing transactions are past ones, some banks only allow QuickBooks to download for up to a number of days. If that's the case, you'll need to manually import your transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.

However, if you were referring to recent transactions, I recommend logging into your bank's website. Look for any alerts, messages, or notifications regarding ongoing system maintenance that might be affecting transaction flow into QuickBooks. Additionally, be sure to check for any announcements about new security requirements that could impact the connection.

If everything looks good, I suggest opening your QuickBooks account in a private browser and manually update the connection from there. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the gear icon.
  2. Select Connect Bank under Transactions.
  3. Click Refresh all.

Once your transactions are downloaded, categorize them to ensure your financial records are correct.

We're here for you anytime you need help with downloading bank transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Feel free to keep us updated in this thread, and we’ll make sure to assist you, Robert.
