  1. In your QBO account, go to the Bookkeeping menu.
  2. Then, Transactions tab and click Bank transactions.
  3. From there, select Update

 

If the same thing happens, I recommend logging in to your bank's website to verify if there are any maintenance issues. Once signed in, check if there are messages, notifications, or alerts that need immediate action. This may be the reason why transactions don't sync to your account.

I was able to update transactions. But ever time I confirm my identity with the code, it still leaves my account unconnected.

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same issue persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
