Welcome to the Community, userfahryde1.

I know how important it is to download the entire year's worth of bank transactions into QuickBooks. Let me share a workaround and explain why you're unable to download the entire year's transactions.

When connecting your bank or credit card account to QuickBooks, keep in mind that some banks limit how far back transactions can be downloaded. QuickBooks Online allows you to download transaction history for up to 90 days, but some banks may allow you to download it for longer.

In your case, if you need to upload older transactions than what you initially downloaded, you can download them from your bank as a CSV or qbo file, and manually import them into QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then Bank transactions.
  2. Tap the blue tile for the account where you want to upload the transactions.
  3. Click the Link account▼ dropdown, then Upload from file.
  4. Drag and drop or select files, then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, press Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then, hit Continue.
  7. Choose the transactions you want to import. Then click Continue.
  8. Select Yes, then Done.

I'm adding this article for more details about the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once you're ready, you can use this link as a future reference in reviewing, matching, and adding your bank transactions: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
