Question

Our bank changed the URL and I tried connecting it to QB but it is not on the list. There's an option to add it so I did but I didn't get updates and can't connect still.

Welcome to the Community, @ajabad.

I can help you with your concern about connecting your online banking account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Beforehand, did you encounter a specific bank error? For this, we have various fixes available for that specific error. You may want to check out this article for detailed steps: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online

Also, since you mentioned that your bank has changed the URL. You’ll need to request support from your bank to enable you to see the option for connecting this. Please refer to Step 3: Request support for your bank to do so: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking

In the meantime, you can manually add your bank transactions to account registers by referring to the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and select the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the account registration that you want to review.
  3. From the Actions column, choose View register.
  4. Then, choose Add journal entryAdd check, or Add deposit from the dropdown menu at the top of the list.
  5. Choose the transaction type you want to include.
  6. To finish the transaction, complete the fields.
  7. When finished, click Save.

You may also want to upload them using the supported file formats manually:

  • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)

Please refer to this article for in-depth instructions and guidelines: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online

Once done, make use of this article to reconcile your account.
