I'm here to share details on how you can connect your PNC bank transactions to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @agrajeev.

You'll want to sign in to your bank's website to check if there are issues on your bank's end. This might be the reason why you're unable to connect PNC bank to QuickBooks.

  • Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  • Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  • Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

Once verified, you can then connect your bank with QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Select Banking from the left menu.
  2. Click Add Account.
  3. Search your bank or use the correct URL when you log in to your bank's website.
  4. Enter your bank's username and password.
  5. Select the type of account.
  6. Select how far back you want to download bank transactions.
  7. Click Connect.

Read through this article for the detailed steps: Connect and add bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

If you're still unable to connect, you can upload the transactions manually to ensure the account is up-to-date. Download the data from your bank then map the transactions using supported formats or file types:

Once the bank file is ready, start importing the file to your QuickBooks Online company. Follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Bank website and follow the instructions to download the file as QBOCSV, or QFX (maximum file size 350KB).
  2. Once done, go to the Banking or Transactions menu in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  3. Click the Banking tab
  4. Select Upload transactions.
  5. Click Browse and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next.
  6. In the QuickBooks account drop-down, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Next.
  7. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then click Next.
  8. Then simply click Let's go when you're ready.

Please note that the Bank Feed will download these transactions once the connection resumes to its normal order. To avoid duplicates, exclude them to keep your accounts accurate. Excluded transactions are moved to the Excluded tab, and won’t be added to QuickBooks or downloaded again.
