Question

Our transactions aren't transmitting over to QBO from our bank. The accounts have been deactivated and reactivated over 10 times, and accounts are updated.

We've been chatting with QBO representatives for the past three weeks, and have escalated the issue to their Engineering to no avail. We've called our bank and they don't see any issues on their end. Therefore we have to manually enter transactions until this is rectified. Very frustrating.

Allow me to help you more regarding this matter, Genesis.

We are aware that these disruptions have been challenging. To check the status of your case, I recommend contacting our Live Support team again. Alternatively, consider bulk uploading your transactions to simplify the manual entry. If duplicates occur, you can exclude them afterward.

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Click the tile for the desired account.
  3. Choose the Link account, then Upload from file.
  4. Upload the file from your bank by clicking the Drag and drop or select files, then tick Continue.
  5. Select the QuickBooks account for the bank file from the Select a QuickBooks account for the bank file you want to upload dropdown, and click Continue.
  6. Match the file columns with the correct QuickBooks fields, and click Continue.
  7. Select the transactions to import and click Continue.
  8. To confirm, select Yes and Done.

Moreover, consider regularly categorizing your online bank transactions to help streamline your financial tracking and enhance decision-making in your business.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same problem persists, you can use csv2qbo converter tool for the time being. It's a $60 one time license.
