Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community, allen25glenn. I'll be providing details on how uncleared transactions acts in QuickBooks. Then, to ensure you're able to remove the deposits and check payments on your reconciliation page.

The uncleared deposits and check payments in QuickBooks Online are usually not yet cleared in your bank. Since those entries are from the dated year 2019, I suggest creating a journal entry to write off or to get those transactions out on the reconciliation. With this, marking the deposit or payments as a check isn't needed.

To ensure your records are in shipshape, I suggest consulting an accountant before performing the process below. They can provide suggestions on how to properly handle the transactions, especially with the category to use for the debit and credit.

Here's how:

  1. Click the + New button. Then, choose Journal entry.
  2. On the first line, select an account from the Account field.
  3. Choose the other account you're moving money to or from on the next line.
  4. Check the amounts and you should have the same amount in the Credit column on one line and the Debit column on the other.
  5. Fill in the other necessary field.
  6. Click Save and close.
