Helo there, @ ewester.

May I know what transaction are you trying to enter? That’ll help us resolve the error you’re having.

Also, there are times that the browser you're using has information stored that's stopping or causing the error when saving the transactions.

I recommend using a private browser or an incognito window when trying to save it. Then, you may clear the cache in the one that you're currently using if it works.

Here’s how:

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+N.
  • For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+P.
  • For Safari, hold down Command+Shift+N.

If it works, here's how to delete or disable cache and temporary internet files in your web browser. Once you're done clearing your browser's cache, restart your browser for the changes to take effect.

You may also use other browsers if you’re still unable to save the transaction.

I’m always here if you still need further assistance. Let us know by leaving a post below.

QB isn't saving my transactions in bills, paying bills, and when i go to look for the 2 entries, QB changes the date to the date I entered the transactions NOT the date it occured on, which really fouls things up.  I change the date during the creation on the transaction to be what I want it to be, but QB changes it to the date is it the day I entered it.  I've contacted QB about it several times.  They escalate my complaint, to no avail.  They tell me to run it in cognito.  Why should I have to do that?  Then they tell me to clear my browing history, why?  I do it and it changes nothing.  I AM FURIOUS!!!  And, it's almost tax time!!
