QB Keeps Locking my Online Bank Accounts

QB Self Employed keeps trying to remotely logon to my bank. This can't be done due to security prompts that it can not respond to.

 

Can I set up my accounts so that QB will only try to logon to them while I am logged on or request a transaction pull?

Hello Lilyslilypad!

 

QuickBooks Self-Employed requires a constant connection with your bank account. However, some financial institutions, like yours, don't support seamless connections to third-party software and therefore results in multiple failed sign-in attempts in the background.

 

We currently have no option to change how QBSE connects or fetches your transactions, but we'll be happy to gather feedback about it. This way, our engineers can consider creating alternative connections in future updates.

 

  1. Click on Help.
  2. Type in feedback and hit Enter on your keyboard.
  3. Select Something else in the response.
  4. Enter your feedback about online banking.

 

On the other hand, you can consider importing your transactions on a regular basis, so you won't need to connect your account.
