QB nonprofit user. I entered donations from specific donors, then deposited the checks together. How do I match the deposit downloaded from the bank to these donors?

Let me help you enter the sales transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you manually entered a donation using sales receipt and then entered a deposit in QBO, it'll create a duplicate transaction. You can enter it using a sales receipt and the Undeposited Fund account. Then, go to the Bank Deposit screen and batch deposit the sales receipt.

Here's how:

To enter a Sales Receipt:

1. Click the Plus sign icon, then select Sales Receipt.
2. Enter the needed information.
3. Select Undeposited Funds under the Deposit to box.
4. Click Save or Save and close.

To record a bank deposit:

1. Click the Plus sign icon, then choose Bank Deposit.
2. Check the sales receipts you want to deposit.
3. Select the correct bank account at the top.
4. Click Save and new or Save and close.
