Question

QB online has not gotten bank feeds in 3 weeks. There is an orange circle with an "i" in it. Has anyone had this issue?

I have 2 locations using the same bank and the other QB account is getting bank feed no problem.  I am not sure if it is a QB issue or a bank issue.  Does anyone have any answers?

The orange exclamation point shown in the bank account indicates that something is wrong with your bank connection. This means QuickBooks is unable to connect to your bank's website due to maintenance. Because of that, this hinders the application from receiving your latest bank transactions.

 

Before anything else, would you mind telling me which bank institution you connected with? It is to check if there’s a similar issue reported on our system. Then, let’s go over and verify the following by logging in to your bank's website. Once logged in, check for any updates, messages, or notifications. The message ought to outline any procedures you need to take if you must take any action. Moreover, here are some usual messages about:

 

  • New terms of service
  • Announcements about maintenance or other site changes
  • New offers

 

In the meantime, we can manually update it to get your latest entries into your bank feeds. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Transactions menu, and select Bank Transactions.
  3. From your bank feeds, tap the Update button to start updating the transactions.

 

Next, it's important to update your password regularly. For security reasons, most banks require you to change your password at regular intervals. To do this, visit the Banking Center and select the pencil icon located at the top right of the account tile. Then, choose the option to Edit sign-in information.
