Mileage used to post automatically to my web version of QB Self Employed, now I can’t find how to restore that as I can’t redownload the QB SE app on my iPhone despite instructions in posted articles

I'll gladly help you reinstall the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) app on your iOS device, Jeriah.

After March 24, 2024, some customers are unable to find the QBSE app in the app stores since we are focusing on our QBSE web product for valued users.

However, if you stay on the same mobile platform where you downloaded your QBSE app, you can still reinstall it in the history of your App Store. To do that:

  1. Open the iOS App Store.
  2. Tap the Sign-in button or your photo at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Purchased. If you use Family Sharing, tap My Purchases or choose a family member’s name to see their purchased content.
  4. Tap Not on this [device].
  5. Find the QBSE app, then tap the Download button.

Here's a website for more information about redownloading the QBSE app: Redownload apps and games for your Apple devices from the App Store.

Once done, refer to this guide to enable automatic mileage tracking: Automatically track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Furthermore, you can learn about Schedule C categories and how to categorize your mileage transactions in QBSE by reading this article: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Solopreneur and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Feel free to reach out to us whenever you need further help to reinstall your QBSE app. We're always here to help. Stay safe.
