It's good to hear from you today, cleverdoginc.

I can provide some details regarding the new  Review and Confirm options in QuickBooks Online.

If you need to categorize or match a transaction on the banking page, you can click the Review button to show all the options that need classification.

However, if the transaction is showing the correct details and doesn't need to be reviewed or matched, you can select the Confirm button. This will move the transaction to the Categorized tab.

For your reference, check out this article: How to use Online Banking, Connect Bank Accounts, and Review your Bank Feed in QuickBooks Online. This will provide you links from connecting, importing, and splitting your transactions in QuickBooks.

Can I change it back to "Add" and "Match"?

Add & Match is WAY less confusing for all my clients.

Hi there, @ bcloutier.

This works as designed for QuickBooks, @bcloutier.

The new  Review and Confirm option is a feature where you can categorize or match a transaction on the banking page.

The Add option is simply adding bank transactions to your bank register. This is used when you have nothing to match in QuickBooks. If the amount of your invoice matches the bank transaction, the invoice becomes a matching entry. And, you will see the Match option on the bank transaction instead of Add.
