QBO used to take the information provided from a downloaded transfer and move that information to the category. It was very handy. How can I get it to do this again?

Let’s get that option back to your downloaded bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), newby.

We can add the details back to the downloaded transactions so that this will be carried over to the category details. Here’s how:

1. From the left navigation pane, click the Banking menu.
2. Select the Banking tab.
3. In the Banking window, click the small Gear icon.
4. From there, mark checks the Show bank details.
   

    

Once done, finish categorizing your account to ensure that the bank transactions are added to the correct account. Then, you can start reconciling your account to avoid any discrepancies.
