Quick books has held onto a deposit of mine for WEEKS, now, not releasing the funds

It was my very first invoice and since then all other paid invoices have been released. It is for a small amount. I’m becoming concerned this is a scam and they will just continue to randomly hold deposits. Anyone else have this issue?

Please know we understand the urgency of this matter and that this isn't the experience we'd want you to have when using QuickBooks Payments, @jlskitkat-gmail-.

When processing payments for the first time, the funds will take a bit longer to process while we set everything up. We'll deposit your first set of payments within 5 business days. After that, we'll process them much faster.

For now, I'd suggest checking the deposit speed in QuickBooks to monitor the fund.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then select Account and settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

For more details about the process, please see this article: Find out When QuickBooks Payments Deposits Customer Payments.
