QuickBooks bank Connection- I disconnected a Wells Fargo bank account. I tried to reconnect but it no longer shows in QuickBooks after going through the linking process

During linking process it shows the account greyed out meaning it is linked, but after clicking continue to finalize which account to link it doesn’t show it. I contacted Wells Fargo and it does not to appear to be a Wells Fargo issue.

Is there an amount of time needed between unlinking and reconnecting the same account?

For now, I'd recommend you contact our QuickBooks Support Team so that they can add you on the list of the affected users. This way you'll get notified via email once there's a fix or an update about this issue.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:

 

  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

It’s been over 72 hours and we have not heard back from quickbooks support. How long does this normally take?

Can you please help me escalate and push engineers to fix the issue. It has been over 1 week and we need the bank to reconcile so we can work.
