QuickBooks business Checking account not synced. When I go to manage account it wants to give me a new account number

I can share some information about how managing accounts work with QuickBooks Cash.

Just to confirm, are you using the Money by QuickBooks that lets you manage business money with a mobile bank account and debit card, plus payments? If yes, QBO and QuickBooks Money app are two separate accounts. Even if you have the same login information, you can't connect or share the data between them.

The funds that flow through the Money by QuickBooks app will appear in your Money by QuickBooks bank account. If you have a QuickBooks account, its data won’t appear in the Money by QuickBooks app or bank account.

On the other hand, you may sign up for QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Cash to manage your money in and out transactions through a QuickBooks Cash account or the Cash Flow menu. Once approved, you get a QuickBooks Cash account and receive your QuickBooks Debit Card in the mail within 3 - 5 business days.

In addition, you have to add your bank and start a connection. This will make QuickBooks send two small deposits to the account within 3 business days. When you see it reflected in your bank, you'll have to verify and confirm the transactions by entering the amounts in QuickBooks.
