Quickbooks combined 2 separate deposits into one and "split" them. Confusing. How do I get QB to stop doing this?

To make sure we're on the same page. Is QuickBooks combining and splitting the deposits automatically during the deposit creation process, or is it happening after the deposits have been created and saved?

I'd also appreciate it if you could also send a screenshot of the two combined deposits as well as the screen where it shows the split. This way I can provide relevant information and specific steps to address this concern.
