Question

Quickbooks deposit of multiple checks to bank? It shows in the account that invoices have been paid. I see them in undeposited Funds. How do I get them in the register

Hi there, @charteroaktel. Allow me to guide on how to make the transaction show in your bank register.


Let's start with the basics. The Undeposited Funds account in QuickBooks keeps a record of payments until you physically deposit them at your real-life bank. If you have already received payments and deposited them to the Undeposited Funds account, then you're good to combine these transactions.  

 

Combine transactions in QuickBooks with a bank deposit.
 

1. Select + New and select Bank Deposit
2. Choose the account you want to put the money into from the Account dropdown.
3. Select the checkbox for each transaction you want to combine.

4. Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip. 

5. Hit Save and close


All transactions in your Undeposited Funds account can be found in the bank deposit window. If you identify any missing transactions, simply include them in the Undeposited Funds account
 

Once you've completed these steps, you can return to the bank register to check if the transactions are accurately reflected.
