Why does QuickBooks hold customer payments for over a month? Does anyone know how to speak with a supervisor about this?

Hi @leah-freeland,

I'll share insight on how you can deal with this situation, where you haven't received a customer's payment via QuickBooks Payments.

In cases where there's an issue with a customer's payment, I suggest you check your registered email address. You'll receive an email from us, and that's how you can move forward.

For more information, see this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments. It's a step by step guide on how you can check your customer payment's status.

If you want to proceed with contacting our QuickBooks Payments support, keep this article for reference: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support. It has their hours of operation so you know when they're available.

Do you need further assistance with checking a customer payment status in QuickBooks Online? Let me know in the comments below, and I'll get back to you.

No, I'm not getting the answer I want. QB is holding nearly a half million of my payments and has provided no rational at all.

It is theft at this point and I'm complaining to the BBB and every consumer board I can contact.

QB is not even calling me when promised, providing answers as promised nor responding to my emails. They've asked for bank statements which is unbelievable in light of the fact that my bank account is literally connected to QB. We've had zero payment disputes.

In the meantime they've reached out to ask if I'd like to barrow money. I believe this is a scam that allows QB to use my funds to make loans to other businesses. There can be no other reason.
