Quickbooks Mac 2020 now getting "Unable to get your banks profile" 429

I can provide you with some important information about QuickBooks Desktop and its recent discontinuation, nemesys. 

 

As of May 31, 2023, QuickBooks Desktop 2020 and all 2020 versions of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, QuickBooks Desktop Premier, QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions v20 have been terminated. This discontinuation also affects other Intuit products.

 

With the discontinuation of these versions, certain features such as add-on services (including payroll, online backup, and online banking) have been disabled. Therefore, accounts connected to online banking will no longer generate the latest transactions. Additionally, manual bank import will not be available.

 

If you wish to continue using QuickBooks, you'll want to upgrade your subscription to a newer and supported version. As older versions do not receive the necessary updates and security patches, which can leave your financial data vulnerable to potential threats.

Thank you but none of those steps helped. Like another user posted, is it possible that QuickBooks Mac Desktop 2020 has been disabled for banking access?

The QBDT 2020 was discontinued last May 31, 2023, including all 2020 versions of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, QuickBooks Desktop Premier, QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions v20. 

 

As a result, some features, such as add-on services, including payroll, online backup, and online banking, have been disabled. In this case, accounts connected to online banking will no longer generate the latest transaction, and manually import bank data. 

 

On that note, you may want to upgrade your subscription to a newer and supported version. If you consider, ensure your computer meets the system requirements to guarantee compatibility and get the most out of your desktop experience. Also, to prevent any issues or data loss, we can create a backup copy of your company file before upgrading to newer versions.

QB Desktop 2020 has outdated and the bank feed feature is disabled. You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2021 to isolate the problem.
