Hello mella007!

Let me share some details about that bank account and help you in closing it.

You automatically sign up for QuickBooks Checking account when you sign up for QuickBooks Payments in QuickBooks Online. It is an FDIC-insured account and powered by Green Dot Bank, a member of the FDIC.

This checking account also comes with a free QuickBooks Debit Card and will delivered by mail within 7 - 10 business days. This is where all of your customer payments get deposited. You can transfer funds from the QuickBooks Checking account to other bank or use the debit card to withdraw.

You can contact our Support Team if you want to close it. Just make sure that the QuickBooks Checking account has a $0 balance. If not, you can withdraw the funds first or transfer it to other banks. You can contact the number on the back of the QuickBooks Debit Card or follow these steps:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter "Close QuickBooks Checking".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.

You can check this link to learn more how to use the QuickBooks Checking account: Learn more about QuickBooks Checking accounts and the Cash Flow menu.

I also added this link if you need help in running, customizing, and saving reports: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
