Quickbooks Won't Import Transactions for 2 Months

For over 2 months now quickbooks has been unable to import my transactions from Bank of America. I have been on multiple support calls and chats and they have finally switched from blaming me for not setting something up right to admitting that they have an issue importing transactions on their end. This makes their platform completely unusable for me as I have too many transactions to manually enter and now the only option is to upload via CSV. I am not willing to do that because if I wanted to manually upload and download everything I would go use a basic cheap software solution and not pay extra for an automated online solution. 

 

To me this is inexcusable considering how much they charge and that they are a large company with resources to fix this if they wanted to. I am so frustrated that after this long I still have not received any updates and they have failed to fix this critical problem.

I'll make it up to you by ensuring you get a detailed overview of why the issue still occurs.

 

I've checked our system and discovered that the investigation about being unable to import Bank of America's transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is in progress. Rest assured that our engineering team is already looking at this to determine what's causing the issue.

 

While this is ongoing, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team again to know the investigation's status. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner of QBO.
  2. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  3. Type in "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click Ask about something else, then enter a short description of your concern or provide INV-104748 as a reference.
  6. Choose between Have us call you or Chat.

 

For now, you can temporarily upload your bank data using a CSV file while we work on fixing the issue. I've added these articles to import the transactions:

 

 

Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them. They'll go into your accounts after you review them. Then, reconcile your books to keep your record accurate.
