Randomly in the transactions list when we do payroll it will assign payment to a certain employee several times in a row. This is QBO. Any thoughts?

That behavior is indeed strange, justin-mays.

I can share some troubleshooting steps that can help fix this issue. 

There are times that your browser becomes full of site data causing problems in QuickBooks Online. To check if this is a browser-related issue, you can try running your payroll using an incognito or private window.  Feel free to use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using: 

• For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
• For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
• For Safari, press Command + Shift + N.

If it's now working well, you'll have to go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache. This will delete the accumulated junk files and enhanced your browsing experience. However, if you still get the same results, I recommend switching to a different browser to further isolate the issue.
