The downloaded data in QuickBooks is dependent on the information provided by the financial institution. Then, since your bank and PayPal accounts are connected to each other for transfer transactions and linked to QuickBooks Online, the transactions from your bank are the ones that appear in our program. However, the said entry will not appear as Transfer by default and you will still need to categorize the transactions manually.

Furthermore, I suggest going to the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online and choosing Feedback. This way, you can submit a request about having the option to automatically show the entry as Transfer in the For Review tab. Any recommendations are sent to our engineers for consideration in future updates.
