Reconcile Discrepancy

There's a discrepancy because at least one transaction was changed or deleted after it was reconciled. I just noticed this statement when I was going to reconcile my bank. I can view the transactions that are deleted. Can I undelete them or do I manually have to do it. Thanks, Wes

Hi there, @weslaughton

I appreciate you for providing detailed information about your concern. I'm here to share some insights into fixing bank reconciliation issues in QuickBooks Online.

For now, there is no option to restore a deleted transaction automatically. However, we can use the Audit log to recover the details of the deleted transaction and re-enter them manually by clicking the + New tab to create and choose what transaction you want to recreate.

Hi Deb,

Thanks for getting back to me; I appreciate it. So if I look at the Audit log I can see the deleted transactions. Do I have to manually re-enter each transaction or will QB online remember the transaction?

Thanks for your help.

Wes

Jumping in to quickly answer your question about restoring data, weslaughton.

Yes, you will need to manually recreate the transactions one at a time. You can use the same information from the Audit Log report such as transaction date, item or accounts used, payee or customer's name, and amount.
