Hi, @laurie-sandwichf.

Let me help you resolve your reconciliation problem in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

You can reconcile them again to show the transaction as reconciled in your account. I'm happy to provide the detailed steps and possible reasons why this is happening.

There's a possibility that there's another user who undoes the reconciliation. With this, I'd suggest running the Audit Trail (AT) in your account to review your business activities.

Here's how:

  1. Click Reports at the top menu bar and choose Account & Taxes.
  2. Select Audit Trail.
  3. On the report screen, click Customize Report.
  4. Review the report.

If there isn't, please reconcile them again. For more guidance, check out this article: Reconcile an account.

Once done with your reconciliation, I'd suggest accessing the reconciliation report and customize it. This is for you to get the details you'll want to pull up.

In case you encounter some issues upon reconciling. This great resource will surely help you with fixing it. For the details, please check out this article: How to fix reconciliation issues in QBDT?.

But if you see System Admin under Last modified by in the AT report, I'd advise you to reach out to our QuickBooks Experts. They have ultra-modern tools to review why your transactions are automatically undone.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu, then choose QuickBooks Desktop Help
  2. Type your concern in the description box and hit Let's talk
  3. Pick an option to communicate with them.
  4. Complete the required data and submit the request.

Please call them within business hours to ensure we address your concern.
