I recently transferred to Quickbooks online.  I'm trying to reconcile for the first time.  When in the reconciliation I see my transactions but I don't see a column that I put a checkmark in when reviewing transactions.  Where do I find this column?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Online family, @stitcheskim. Reconciling your bank accounts in QuickBooks Online is my priority.

I have troubleshooting steps to help fix the missing check box on the reconciliation page.

It could be that you're experiencing a browser-related issue. Sometimes, the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, thus causing websites like QuickBooks Online (QBO) to act weirdly. Try logging into your QBO account using a private browser.

You can use the shortcut keys below:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

Once logged in, click go back to the reconciliation page to verify if it's performing well. If you can see the check box, please return to your regular browser and press the CTRL+ Shift and Delete keys on the keyboard to clear the cache.

Once everything is okay, you may now reconcile your account. Click this link for complete steps: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

In addition, see the following articles on how to print reconciliation reports and troubleshoot accounts that you reconciled in the past:

Let me know if you need clarification or if there's anything else I can do for you. I'll be here on standby, and help is a click away. Take care.
