Reconciliation issues

I have been having trouble reconciling ever since I started taking payments through Quickbooks. Now my items from my bank statement are showing up correctly in the register, but when I go to reconcile none of them show up. How can I get them to go over so I can try to reconcile?

I'll help you get this sorted out.

 

When transactions are missing on the reconcile page, make sure of the following:

 

  • The Ending balance and Ending date is the same as your bank statement.
  • Transactions are not marked as R in the bank register. R means Reconciled. 

Here's how you can check the status of the transactions:

 

  1. Go to Accounting > Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the View register link of the account you want to reconcile.
  3. Find the missing transactions and check the status. Change the status if necessary by clicking the letter until it shows blank. 
  4. Hit Save.
