Santander - QB Bank Feed Connection to download transactions won't recognize login.

While Santander recognizes my password entry,  Quickbooks does not recognize it for the connection to download transactions.  I have logged into the bank separately and then tried it, still not luck. I have tried typing all entries by hand. But still no luck.  I have called Santander and they claim this is a QB problem.

Thanks for logging in to your bank's website, NikiPatt.

I have some details to share about the Santander Online Banking in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Some of the QBO users are also having issues with downloading bank transactions for Santander. Our engineers are currently working on finding the cause, so they can implement a fix.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions using Web Connect files.

Here's how:

  1. Select Banking on the left pane.
  2. Choose Banking at the top, then click File Upload.
  3. Click Browse and choose the file you saved in Step 1.
  4. Click Next.
  5. From the QuickBooks account drop-down, select the account you want to upload the bank data and click Next.
  6. If you're uploading a CSV file, you're prompted to select columns from the CSV file that match QBO banking fields.
  7. Click Next when you're done.
  8. Select Let's go or Finish.

We'll need to put you on a notification list. This way, we'll be able to communicate with you when a fix is available.

You can contact us using the information on this link: Get help with QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for your patience while we're working to resolve this. Please feel free to let me know if you have other questions about QuickBooks Online. Have a good one.

Login connection was repaired today.  Thank you -- and good to see the backup solution if it's necessary in the future.
