Welcome to the Community, swh-cocentral.

I'd be delighted to assist you with setting up decimal point for currency in QuickBooks Online.

We can change the number format on your Accounts and Settings in QBO to change how your money will look in transactions and reports. Here's how:

  1. In the top right, select the Gear icon and choose Account and Settings
  2. On the left pane, go to Advanced
  3. Click Edit in the Other Preferences section.
  4. Select your preferred Number Format on the drop-down.
  5. Go to Save, then Done

Please know that the decimal places in QBO default to two places after the period. Changing this is currently unavailable. If you want to change the decimal setting to display the amounts, I suggest sending this feedback to our Product Development Team so they can consider adding this function in future product enhancements.

I'll show you how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your feedback Suggestion.
  3. Press Next.

Then, you can visit our Feedback forum to track the progress of your feature request.

In case you might consider enabling the multicurrency feature in QBO to have the ability to record transactions in foreign currencies, here's an article you can follow: Set up and use Multicurrency in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any trouble with your transactions or display preferences in QBO, please let me know, and I’ll do everything I can to help here in the Community. Keep safe always.
