Should my bank account transactions take more than 48 hours to be recognized by quickbooks?

Quickbooks shows an account balance more than 48 hours old, and has not given me the opportunity to categorize any of my transactions because it has not recognized them. Similarly, I have quickbooks mileage tracker on and precise location services set to “always”, and quickbooks has not recognized any of my trips.

If you're using the mobile application, to get this sorted out, as an initial step, let's clear the application's cache files. Doing so helps in fixing any sorts of errors in the system.

 

Here’s how to do that:

 

  1. From More Options ⋮, select Settings.
  2. Then select Refresh Data.
  3. Choose Yes.

Once done, you can go back to your bank transactions and categorize them. If you're using the web browser, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page.

 

If the issue persists, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps. You can use these shortcut keys depending on the browser you're using:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

 

Once signed in, go back to your bank account and categorize them from there. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main portal and clear its cache to remove the browser's history or you can press CTRL+Shift and Delete key on your keyboard altogether. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.
