Question

Since the QB customer service sucks I thought I would ask online. I recently set up ACH originations with my bank and when I go to sync my bank they aren't transferring

I've used QB on-line for years and I've never had an issue with the bank synching to QB. It's just these new ACH originations that aren't working

Hi there, leadingedge123.

Thank you for raising your concern here with us on the Community page. We can do some troubleshooting steps to rule this out. Let's open your QuickBooks Online account in an incognito or private browser. This mode will not save your browsing history and will also help isolate any web issues.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If it works fine, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing cache fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites. It also helps pages to load faster. Please make sure to restart your browser afterwards.

You can also use a different supported browser as an alternate solution.

I appreciate your time today. Please know that I always have your back if you need help with QuickBooks. Cheers to your success in the years to come!

Everything is being transferred fine except for 3 ACH origination files.  Could this be possible by using a different search engine if other things are transferred fine throughout the month?

I appreciate you for getting back to us, leadingedge123.

Yes, a browser-related issue can also be the reason why some transactions are not being brought up to your QuickBooks (QBO) account. Aside from this, a connection between your bank and QBO are not stable thus some items are missing.

If you've already perform the steps shared by my colleague, however, you're still unable to review the three transactions, we can do a manual update to refresh the interconnection. You can do this by clicking Banking and then selecting Banking. Then, click the Update button.

If the update seems stuck, you can login to your financial institution's account and check to see any page maintenance warning. If you see error, you can check this article for the steps to resolve it: Fix specific bank errors.

Also, can you tell me the name of your bank? So, I can check on my end for any ongoing investigation with regard to them.

Once everything's fine, you're good to reconcile the account to ensure they match your bank statements. Here's a guide for the steps to do it: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted as to how these troubleshooting works on your end. I want to ensure that this gets resolved. Keep safe!
