Question

Some withdrawals and deposits are not showing up on reconcile report!

My bank account balance and QB balance are not matching up. When I try to reconcile, I get the "Your account isn't ready to reconcile yet" message. When I pull up the reconcile report and compare it with my bank statement, I see some withdrawals and deposits don't show up in the reconcile report. I'm thinking I might have selected the wrong category for some of these transactions but I don't see what I have done wrong.

When I click on Reconcile, I don't have an Edit Info button.

To start, you can open your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can accomplish this by utilizing these keyboard shortcut keys:

 

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

 

Once that works fine using a private browser, go back to your original browser and clear its cache so the system can start fresh. Also, using a different supported browser can help us dig deep into this matter.
