SOMEBODY KNOWS WHY A DEPOSIT IS BEING WITHHELD

Hello, claudiacaballero.

 

I'd like to shed some more details about the withheld deposit, and how you can resolve it. 

 

A deposit can be withheld for a number of reasons. One common reason is that we're on the process of reviewing the funds. This is for security purposes, and to ensure that the funds will be transferred to you without any issues. 

 

Also, when a deposit is withheld, we would send you an email detailing the reason for the hold and instructions on how to resolve it. In which case, I'd recommend checking your email address associated with your Payments account. 

 

If you haven't received any, you'll want to contact our agents. They'll check the deposit securely and resolve the hold status for you. Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu.
  2. On the pop-up panel, go to the Search tab.
  3. Click the Contact Us button.
  4. In the text box, type something like "deposit is withheld."
  5. Proceed with Continue, then choose how you want to reach us (phone or chat).
