SPLIT within the bank feed

The screen that shows during the matching process in the bank feed is different for different members of our team even though all have the same user role.  One person sees buttons for SPLIT and ADD.  The others see a single button for CONFIRM.  How can those seeing CONFIRM, switch to seeing SPLIT and ADD?

In QuickBooks Online, you have two display options: business view and accountant view. Your default view depends on your preferences during the initial setup, but you can switch between the two at any time without affecting your accounts or data.

 

In the business view, users will see a Confirm button during the transaction matching process. On the other hand, users in the accountant view will see an Add button. Both buttons perform the same function of adding transactions from your bank feeds into QuickBooks.

 

Here's how to switch between the two views:

 

  1. Navigate to the gear icon.
  2. Click Switch from Accountant view to Business view.
