I am having issues with square transactions. they are depositing the fees in my bank register instead of the actual sale amount,  and under the square app transactions it shows the sale amount in one line in the second line its subtracting that amount, the third line is subtracting the fees so my deposit in negative. why? how do i fix this??

Allow me to provide you with some information regarding your concern about the Square transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

The transactions that have been downloaded in QBO depend on the transactions that are sent by the third-party application. As you've mentioned, the transactions downloaded in QBO from Square app deposits are negative which isn't supposed to.

 

With this, I'd recommend contacting the Square App support to verify if there's an ongoing maintenance or system error on their end.

Consider having a 3rd party connector app to reconcile Square transactions into QBO.
