Question

The app; I tried managing from desktop; nothing has resolved this issue. I am a meticulous record keeper and I find this extremely frustrating and disappointing. Everything is categorized on a weekly basis always. Where did May 2021 transactions go?

Hi, erwingj.

I know the urgency to categorize your transactions correctly to keep your accounts up to date. I have few basic troubleshooting steps you can perform. Let's start with logging into your account through a private browser. It's the best spot to isolate web issues.

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Then, you can filter the date on your Transactions page to verify if there are entries from May 2021. Let me guide you how:

1. On the Transactions page.

2. Click the Date drop-down then choose the Custom date.

3. Click Apply.

If it shows the transactions while browsing privately,  it's safe to say this problem's being caused by your browser. It can be fixed by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies

If they aren't showing up, you can download transactions from your bank. Then, manually import them to QuickBooks. Doing this will make sure you have accurate records on your account.

You can also check a browser's compatibility with your books by utilizing our browser health checkup tool. QuickBooks supports the current and two previous versions of browsers.
