I'll help you get the banking tab working again, @cmasten9.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) use cache to remember frequently-visited websites to load pages faster and improve your browsing experience. However, these files become corrupted over time and can lead to unusual QBO responses such as the Banking page malfunction.

To fix this, let's refresh your browser first. To do this, click the Reload icon beside the QuickBooks URL or press CTRL F5 on your keyboard.

If it doesn't work, let's use a private browser (incognito) instead. Private mode prevents blocks cache and cookies from saving in your browser. Thus, a perfect place to isolate issues like this.

Here are the shortcut keys you can use to access one:

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome .
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox  and Microsoft Edge .
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari .

Once in, please go to the Banking page again and log in to the bank as you normally do.

If it works fine this time, I recommend clearing your original browser's cache to delete the piled up files.

If the issue persists, I suggest using a different supported web engine instead.

When you're all set, you can categorize and match your transactions to put them into the right accounts and prevent duplicates.

To make sure your records are correct, you can always reconcile your account in QuickBooks Online.
